Life has been busy, amazing, and yes, very busy…thus the reason for the lack of posts. Yeah. Hope you are all doing fantastic and enjoying this brand spankin’ new year! I love moving into a new year- definitely one of my #1 favorite things!

So quick little update for you all...

October ended and before we knew it Thanksgiving rolled around! This was, as usual, a fun time spent with family eating food, playing games, and just enjoying each others company-we have much to be thankful for!

Everyone-minus Dad who was taking the picture (and Bekah, Christopher, & Annette).
November and December went by so fast.  They were both wonderful, yet chilly, months.
It was a wonderful year.
What are you most excited for in the coming year?

Wow-it's been too long. And so much has happened in my life this summer. Unfortunately, as a result of that, I kind of dropped of the side of the blog-o-sphere world. But I have returned and this time with not a whole lot of words, but pictures. Yay-pictures speak a thousand words anyways, right? ;) I'll try to cover July-October as best I can for ya'll in this "little" slideshow!
What a crazy busy summer we had! Although I'm sorta sad to see the sunshine go, I'm really looking forward to the cool fall weather and hoping it brings a little rest and relaxation with it. :) What was the biggest highlight of your summer?

Need I say words? Pictures sum up our life pretty well. :)
We live a blessed life.

They are so pretty.

Our spring break this year was great. Yes, we worked a lot during it on farm projects, but it was great fun as we...
 #1) accomplished a lot
#2) spent a lot of time together as a family
#3) ate a ton of delicious food
#4) watched fun movies almost every night
& #5) Made tons of new memories

So sad that it's over.
Here's a picture of one of our big projects of the week (painting the shed behind our house). Amazing what a little paint and elbow grease can do!

What an improvement!

What did you do for Spring Break this year?

Being an aunt is awesome!
Just a couple weeks before Annette was born my older sister Sarah threw a baby shower for her and it was such a lovely event!
March was an amazing month!

March has been one of my favorite months of the year so far...well, for lots of reasons.
#1: I turned 20 and got totally and undeservedly spoiled. My family and friends are awesome. Yes, awesome. The end.
Celebrated my birthday along with my two sisters Melody and Naomi who turned 12 and 10-so crazy. We had an awesome birthday. Ate lots of delicious food, received amazing presents, and enjoyed time with family and friends.
#2: Because it was a birthday month I got to spend more time with friends-yay!

#3: My sister and brother-in-law are going to have a baby really soon-well, hopefully! :) I can't wait to be an aunt again!
#4: I’m sitting here eating chocolate peanut butter cups and jelly beans and blogging rather than exercising. That, my friends, is how one should start their Monday. Seriously-try it.
Hope you all have a great March and that losing an hour doesn't kill ya. ;)

February. The month of many happenings.
Beethoven's 9th Symphony with friends
A Valentine's Day Tea
Caleb and I hung out with our cousin on Valentine's Day (or should I call it...Singles Awareness Day? ;))
Birthday celebration (for my two oldest siblings-Sarah and Joe)
And besides that...just life. Life on our farm.
How's your February been thus far?

January was a great month that went by really fast. Each and every day was super busy with school, meal planning, grocery shopping, family gatherings, church functions,  etc. The two biggest events of this month though would include Christian & Micah's birthday party and my friend Galena's baby shower. Here are pictures from both occasions-enjoy!

1st-Christian and Micah's birthday party
2nd-Galena's Baby Shower!
Hope you had a great January!

On the last day of the year we partied with our relatives. As is tradition we had our "dawg-house" and "cousins' creamery" where Elise, Maria, and I put our aprons on, took orders, and served hot-dogs, chili-dogs, Italian Sodas, and ice cream sundaes to the rest of the family. It was great and, as usual, a blast!
We "rang" in the new year at 9 p.m. (the relatives had to leave early) with sparklers, but we figured it was okay as it was midnight somewhere in the world. ;)
Happy New Year-hope 2013 is a great one for you!
